John of Séez

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

John of Séez († 1142 ) was Bishop of Rochester.

He was ordained bishop in 1137. There are isolated references to an unnamed Bishop of Rochester between 1139 and 1140, as a companion of the newly elected Archbishop of Canterbury Theobald at the Second Lateran Council in April 1139. This will have been about him.
