Ascelin (bishop)
Ascelin († January 24, 1148 ) was Bishop of Rochester.
There is no record of his election, so it is believed that he was appointed by Theobald , Archbishop of Canterbury , in 1142. With his appointment he also gave up the office of Prior of Dover, which he held since 1137.
