Johnny Rivera

Johnny Rivera is a Puerto Rican salsa musician .

Career

Johnny Rivera grew up in the Bronx , New York City and attended Benjamin Franklin High School in his youth. After a stay in his parents' homeland Puerto Rico , Johnny Rivera returned to New York and began his musical career there. With Grupo Fascinación and the Conjunto Clasico he recorded several albums. In 1991 his first solo album "Y Ahora de Verdad" was released. So far he has released 15 successful salsa albums, including his hit song "Se Parecía Tanto A Ti" in 1995, which reached number one on the Latin Billboard Charts.
