Johnson Matthey Davy Technologies

Johnson Matthey Davy Technologies ( JM Davy ) is a subsidiary of Johnson Matthey plc and licenses process technologies for the oil, gas and chemical industries.

In addition to the headquarters in London, the main research center is located in Stockton-on-Tees .

JM Davy goes back to the "Power Gas Corporation" founded by Ludwig Mond in 1901 , from which Davy Process Technology emerged. 2001 Davy was taken over by Yukos , after their break-up the company came to Johnson Matthey.

JM Davy is the global leader in 1,4-butanediol (BDO) and tetrahydrofuran (THF) with a market share of 25% of global capacity.

The company offers other processes and a. for biodiesel and oxo alcohol production.
