Jokadu was a historical empire in the West African state of Gambia .

history

The empire was one of the five Mandinka empires on the north bank of the Gambia River in the early 19th century . It extended in the west to Jurunku Bolong , which also forms the border to the Niumi Empire . In the east was the Baddibu empire , where the Kutang Bolong represented the natural border.
