Jokbo [cokpʼo] literally means "family genealogy". It is a book of the family tree in Korea. When Jokbo originated in Korea is not certain. What is certain, however, is that it was strictly ruled by the Yangban upper class during the Joseon Dynasty , beginning from the 16th century . The Jokbo also reflects the social structures from the past to the present day in Korea.

There is a Jokbo Museum in the city of Daejeon .

An Im Kwon-taek film is called Jokbo (The Genealogy, 1978).
