Jon Chin

Jon Chin (* around 1940 in Ipoh ) is an Australian badminton player of Malaysian origin.

Career

Jon Chin first attracted attention as the captain of the Malaysian student team and later as the captain of the Sydney University team. As a Malaysian citizen - he only became Australian in 1983 - he won both the singles and doubles titles at the Australian Championships in 1965. In 1967 he managed this feat almost again, but he lost in the final of the individual.
