Jonas Gudauskis

Jonas Gudauskis (born February 2, 1890 in the village of Šiauduva , Šilalė Rajongemeinde , † on April 4, 1980 in Chicago , USA ) was a Lithuanian lawyer and politician , Justice Minister of Lithuania .

Life

Jonas Gudauskis studied at the Kvėdarna elementary school near Šilalė . He then completed the four-year Telšiai school as well as the training of primary school teacher in Peterburg . He then worked in the primary schools Švendriškės and Skaudvilė ( Rajongemeinde Tauragė ). He then completed his law studies at the law faculty of Lietuvos universitetas in Kaunas .

From 1922 he worked at the Ministry of Justice of Lithuania , then as an investigator in Šiauliai , judge of Tauragė , member of the Panevėžys District Court and department head in the court.

From 1935 he was chairman of Lietuvos teisininkų draugija . in the 19th government of Vladas Mironas (December 1938 - March 1939) he was Lithuanian Minister of Justice .
