Jonathan Jeremiah (* 1980 in London ) is a British musician .

Jeremiah's taste in music was largely shaped by his parents, who heard musicians such as Scott Walker , Cat Stevens , Serge Gainsbourg and John Martyn as a child. At the age of six, the singer began taking guitar lessons for the first time .

After a trip to the USA at the age of 20, Jeremiah returned to Great Britain after several months in order to advance his career as a singer and songwriter . To finance the recording of his first studio album in a studio in Dollis Hill , he worked at night for a security company, among other things. In 2010, Jeremiah finally signed a contract with Island Records , which released the completed album A Solitary Man (2011) the following year . In October 2012 his second album Gold Dust was released . His third album Oh Desire was released in March 2015. After signing a contract with [PIAS] Germany in 2017, the Londoner released his fourth album Good Day there in 2018 .
