Jonathan Silveira , full name Jonathan Darío Silveira Sosa , (born March 19, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.86-meter-tall offensive player Silveira has been in the squad of the professional team of Liverpool Montevideo since at least the 2014/15 season . In that second division season he made his debut on March 21, 2015 in the 2: 3 away defeat against Central Español in the Segunda División , when he was substituted on by coach Alejandro Apud in the 84th minute for Gonzalo Sena . By the end of the season, when his club rose to the highest Uruguayan league, he played two second division games. He did not score a hit. In the first division season 2015/16 he was used once (no goal) in the Primera División . He was also used in four games (one goal) of the Copa Libertadores Sub-20 2016 . The team finished the competition in second place after losing 1-0 in the final against São Paulo FC .
