Jorge Otero Bouzas (* 28. January 1969 in Nigrán , province of Pontevedra ) is a former Spanish football - defenders .

career

From 1987 Otero played in the team of the then first division club Celta Vigo . He was the following seven years with Vigo under contract, where he played 222 games in the Primera and the Segunda División . The team rose in 1990 to the second division, but returned two years later in the Primera Divisíon.

From 1994 three years at Valencia CF followed , with which Otero became Spanish runner-up in 1996, and further positions at Betis Sevilla and Atlético Madrid . From 2003 to 2005 Otero let his career end with the second division Elche .

In the Spanish national team Otero was active from 1993 to 1996, where he played nine games. He participated in both the 1994 World Cup and the European Championship two years later .
