José Chacón

José Isidro Chacón Díaz (born January 27, 1977 ) is a Venezuelan racing cyclist .

José Chacón won a stage in the Vuelta al Táchira for the first time in 2000 and he became the Venezuelan time trial champion. The following year he was again successful at the Vuelta al Táchira and twice at the Vuelta a Venezuela , so that he could also win the overall standings. In the following years he won another six stages at the Vuelta al Táchira and four sections of the Vuelta a Venezuela , where he also won the overall rankings in 2003 and 2005. In 2003 and 2004 he was again national time trial champion. He also won the road race title in 2004 and the time trial in the Pan American Championship.
