José Luis Montañés , full name José Luis Montañés Hernández , (born January 8, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.89 meter tall defensive player Montañés was at the beginning of his career from mid-2007 to mid-2009 in the ranks of the reserve team (Formativas) of Central Español . In the seasons 2009/10 to 2011/12 he was then a member of the professional squad. In the first two following first division seasons he was used in five games (no goal) of the Primera División . In March 2012 he joined the Club Sportivo Cerrito . A first division appearance (no goal) for the Montevideans in the Clausura 2012, followed in the second division seasons 2013/14 and 2014/15 a total of 39 completed games in the Segunda División , in which he scored a goal. At the end of January 2015, he moved to Deportivo Quevedo in Ecuador . So far (as of March 12, 2017) he met there once in Primera B in the opposing goal.
