Jose Ignacio Sanchez Galan
Jose Ignacio Sanchez Galan (born September 30, 1950 in Salamanca ) is a Spanish engineer and manager .
Life
Sanchez Galan studied engineering at the Pontifical University of Comillas and economics at the Instituto Católico de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (ICADE) in Madrid . After completing his studies, he worked for the Sociedad Española del Acumulador Tudor company from 1972 . In the early 1990s, he managed Industria de Turbopropulsores (ITP). From 1993 to 1995 he was chairman of the Eurojet company . In 1995 he moved to the newly founded company Airtel Móvil as CEO . In 2001 he became Vice President and CEO of the Spanish energy company Iberdrola .
