Josef Berg (born November 14, 1936 ) is a former German soccer player who was active for FC Bayern Munich and BC Augsburg .

Career

Berg belonged to FC Bayern Munich from the 1954/55 season to 1956/57 and only played a league game in his debut season, in which, however, he also scored one goal. The league game he played on May 1, 1955 (30th matchday) in the 1: 3 defeat in the away game against VfB Stuttgart , in which he scored the 1: 2 in the 68th minute. Due to the poor performance, he was relegated to the 2nd Oberliga Süd with FC Bayern Munich for the first time - and one time until today . In this he contributed with six goals in 28 point games to return to the Oberliga Süd . After another season in which he scored four goals in 27 league games, he moved to the 1957/58 season for league rivals BC Augsburg . At the end of the following season , however, he rose with the team and only rose again for the 1961/62 season . After the class could be kept in eleventh place, he ended his active football career.
