Josef Fohringer (politician)

Josef Fohringer (born February 28, 1883 in Mürzzuschlag , † May 25, 1952 in Rohr an der Raab ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party of Austria (SDAP). From 1919 to 1920 he was a member of the Constituent National Assembly and, in 1930, a brief member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

Fohringer attended elementary school and worked professionally as a party secretary. He was a member of the Mürzzuschlag municipal committee and a member of the Styrian state parliament. He represented the Social Democratic Party between March 4, 1919 and November 9, 1920 in the Constituent National Assembly and in 1930 between July 15 and October 1 at short notice in the National Council.
