Josef Kopf (born February 7, 1935 ) is a former German football player and coach .

Career

In the 1956/57 season Josef Kopf played eight times for SV Phönix Ludwigshafen in the Oberliga Südwest, at that time together with other seasons the highest German division, and scored two goals. He later joined Phoenix Bellheim , with whom he played in the second -rate regional soccer league Southwest after they were founded . Under coach Lothar Bechtel Bellheim finished 17th in the debut year 1963/64 and Kopf had scored three goals in 30 missions. On the first regional league matchday, August 4, 1963, Bellheim lost with the head accrued as a half right in the World Cup system then practiced , with 1: 3 goals at FSV Mainz 05. In the second regional league season, 1964/65, Bellheim improved to the 10th rank. Josef Kopf had scored four goals in 18 games alongside teammates Gerhard Helm , Horst Hotz and Hugo Ulm .

In 1966 he started as a player-coach at TV Westheim, whose team competed in the B-class. He was responsible for a positive development within the scope of the possibilities of the small village association, even if no advancement was possible. Winning the Speyer District Cup in 1973 was a success . In 1975 his activities in Westheim ended .
