Josef Molzer (politician)

Josef Molzer (born November 17, 1914 in Korneuburg , † February 5, 1993 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and master builder. From 1969 to 1993 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

After secondary school, Molzer attended the Vienna University of Technology and graduated in 1938 as a graduate engineer. During the Second World War between 1940 and 1945 he was conscripted in Linz and in 1949 became a co-owner of a construction company. In addition, he worked from 1965 to 1985 as state guild master and between 1967 and 1985 as federal guild master. Furthermore, between 1970 and 1975 he was deputy chairman of the Federal Commercial Section, after which he was chairman until 1980. Molzer, who was awarded the professional title of Kommerzialrat , represented the ÖVP from November 20, 1969 to November 4, 1983 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
