Josef Zacherl

Josef Zacherl (born September 4, 1867 in Edt near Lambach ; † July 29, 1939 there ) was an Austrian politician and farmer. From 1914 to 1931 he was a member of the Upper Austrian Landtag .

Life

Zacherl was professionally active as a farmer and from 1927 a committee member of the Upper Austrian Farmers' Union. From 1894 he worked as a councilor for the Christian Social Party in Edt near Lambach and was Mayor of Edt from July 2, 1900 to 1929. He was sworn in for the first time as a member of the state parliament on January 9, 1914 and was a member of the provisional state assembly from November 18, 1918 to May 15, 1919. He then worked again from June 23, 1919 to January 29, 1931 as a member of the state parliament, and from June 23, 1919 to May 18, 1925, he was deputy regional councilor.
