The Joseph Chapel (Polish Kaplica św. Józefa ) in Kraków is a neo-Gothic style Catholic church in the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy in the Łagiewniki district .

history

The chapel was built as a monastery church together with the monastery in the years 1889 to 1892 by Karol Zaremba . The chapel is now part of the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy . In the north side altar there is the original of the miraculous image of the Merciful Jesus by Adolf Hyła , which was painted according to the vision of St. Maria Faustyna Kowalska . The saint is buried in front of the miraculous image.
