Joseph Johann Achleitner

Joseph Johann Achleitner (born November 23, 1791 in Marbach an der Donau , † October 15, 1828 ) was an Austrian composer and organist .

Joseph Johann Achleitner was born as the son of a schoolmaster in Marbach an der Donau. From 1811 to 1818 he was the organist in St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna and later worked there as a music teacher. He composed a requiem (in the early Romantic style ) and smaller church compositions .
