Joseph Kellner (* 1749 in Nuremberg ; † September 4, 1814 there ) was a Nuremberg glass painter , copper engraver, type engraver and writer for young people. Kellner was the father of a widespread and successful family of glass painters and painters

Works

Kellner was made from his own drawing of the "great Nuremberg ox" slaughtered on March 28, 1804 (print without engraver signature in the Germ. Mus. And an engraving from 1775: "Geometric plan of the manor" on the Hadermühl after Georg Friedrich Kordenbusch von Buschenau .) known. There is another engraving from around 1811–1814, “The Hours and Half Hours Clock Game” - perhaps his last work.
