Joseph Kubecka was an Austrian football goalkeeper.

Career

He started at SV Urfahr . In the 1950s, he was promoted to the State League B. After a year there was a threat of relegation to the State League. In an important game against Ried (3-2) he was crowned father of victory by the press in 1955. After winning the Upper Austrian State Cup, he moved to SK VÖEST Linz, then to SVS Linz. After the 1: 7 against the club MTK Budapest FC he switched back to SV Urfahr, he canceled ASK from Linz. With SV Urfahr he was again champion of the national league, but just missed promotion to the national league B in relegation. Joseph Kubecka was never called up by the Austrian national team. After his career ended in 1960, he was still active in the senior team at SV Urfahr.
