Joseph Malis
Joseph "Joe" Malis (born before 1987) is a retired American basketball player .
career
Between 1978 and 1982, Malis completed an economics degree at Clarion University of Pennsylvania and was a high performer on the college basketball team there in the college league NCAA Division 2. Among his teammates was the later start coach John Calipari . With 1411 points scored in four years, Malis was in fifth place on the "eternal basketball list" Clarions when he left the team following the 1981/82 season. In his final year of the game, the 1.95 meter tall winger led Clarion with a point average of 23.0 per game.
From 1982 to 1987 Malis played for DTV Charlottenburg and scored a total of 2281 points in the basketball league . After returning to his home country, he worked in banking and finance.
