Joseph Maria Schül

Joseph Maria Schül (born October 30, 1873 in Heppenheim , † October 9, 1960 in Offenbach ) was a Hessian politician ( center ) and former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Joseph Maria Schül was the son of the businessman Philipp Schül and his wife Katharina, née Lulay. On August 25, 1908, Joseph Maria Schüll married his wife Anna Maria, née Reitz (1884–1966) in Niederwalluf.

Joseph Maria Schül studied law and became a district judge in Offenbach in 1908. From 1915 he was a district judge there. With the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933 he retired.

Joseph Maria Schül was Catholic and involved in the center. For his party, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for five electoral terms between 1921 and 1933 until he had to retire from active politics when he came to power.
