Joseph Thaddäus Sichelbein (born March 16, 1677 in Wangen im Allgäu ; † unknown) was a painter and member of the Sichelbein family of painters .

Life

Joseph Thaddäus Sichelbein was born on March 16, 1677 in Wangen. He was the eldest son of the painter Johann David Sichelbein . Almost nothing is known about him. It is only through invoices that are not explained in more detail that you are acting on your own initiative. It is believed that he later worked in the successful company of his brother Judas Thaddäus Sichelbein .

Works

Only the barrel paintings of the St. Joseph Altar in the church in Leupolz , a district of Wangen, have been secured by him.
