Sichelbein (painter family)
The Sichelbein family of painters was a family from which painters came from over many generations. This painter dynasty began with Caspar Sichelbein the Elder and was decided after more than 180 years by Judas Thaddäus Sichelbein in Wangen. Their work and influence is summarized with that of the Strigel under the term Memminger Schule .
