Joseph Verheyden

Joseph Verheyden (* 1957 ) is a Belgian Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

After receiving his doctorate in Leuven in 1986 , he teaches there as a professor of the New Testament.

His research interests are synoptic studies, Acts of the Apostles of Luke, NT and Hellenism, textual criticism, apocryphal literature and the history of the reception of the NT. He is one of the editors of the commentary Novum Testamentum Patristicum .
