Joseph Wurz

Joseph Würz (* 1863 ; † 1935 ) was a Bavarian butcher and politician.

Career

Würz was a master butcher from Munich . He was President of the Upper Bavaria Chamber of Crafts and 1st Deputy Chairman of the German Chamber of Crafts and Trades .

After Kurt Eisner proclaimed the Free State of Bavaria , he was a member of the Provisional National Council from November 1918 to January 1919 and belonged to the group of Bavarian Chambers of Crafts. He was also a city councilor in Munich.

He was a member of the Munich district committee of the Reichsbank and chairman of the supervisory board of the Bayerische Landesgewerbebank.
