history

The JfGG was developed from a previous magazine with the title "Generational Justice !" developed into a scientific journal . In 2009, an advisory board was appointed and a double-blind peer review process was set up. The journal has been published since 2011 by the "Generational Politics" division at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen.

The journal appears every six months in German. Since the journal for intergenerational justice is not aimed at commercialization, but wants to make scientific articles accessible to a broad readership, the online edition of the journal is an open access journal. The JfGG is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and in the Social Science Open Access Repository (SSOAR). In addition, the journal is also available in print with a limited edition.

Authors

The journal uses a scientific peer review process. The editorial board is made up of almost 50 international experts who come from ten different countries and represent nine disciplines (mainly political science and philosophy). The journal's authors are national and international scholars. Articles submitted by English-speaking authors will be translated into German. The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for young scientists in particular.
