Journal für Sie was an advisory magazine on the television of the GDR .

broadcast

Journal für Sie was designed as a guide especially for women. Gerda Brasch and Gisela Matzke took over the moderation, at the beginning the episodes were broadcast monthly on Wednesdays in the evening program. The topics of the program revolved around family politics and questions of upbringing. From June 1965 the episodes were only broadcast irregularly and on different days and times.

The program was initially considered to be relatively successful, the New Germany described it as "versatile, interesting and pleasantly unconventional", "a pretty fresh child" of television in the GDR. But as early as mid-1965, the newspaper certified the show that it was “ready for vacation” and that it had rightly given up the evening slot.

The last of the 16 episodes was broadcast on December 29, 1965.
