The Journal of Economic Education ( JEE ) is an economics journal published quarterly by Taylor & Francis . The focus of the journal is on the publication of articles on didactics in economic education and is subject to the peer review process.

The founding edition appeared in the autumn of 1969. In 1981, the person responsible for the copyright and publication of the JEE was transferred to the non-profit Heldref Publications . Donald Paden (University of Illinois) became editor in 1983, followed by Kalman Goldberg (Bradley University) in 1986, William Becker (Indiana University) in 1989 and William Walstad (University of Nebraska in Lincoln) in 2009. Heldref eventually sold the JEE to the Taylor & Francis Group.
