The Journal of Orofacial Pain , abbreviated J. Orofac. Pain , is a scientific journal published by Quintessence Verlag. The journal was founded in 1987 under the name "Journal of Craniomandibular Disorders, Facial & Oral Pain" and changed in 1993 to its current name. It is the official publication organ of the "American Academy of Orofacial Pain" and the "European, Australian, Asian and Ibero-Latin Academies of Craniomandibular Disorders"; the magazine is published four times a year. Works are published that deal with health problems of the jaw.
