The Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Psychiatry (also JNNP , bibliographical abbreviation J. Neurol. Neurosurg. Psychiatry ) is a medical journal . The journal was founded in 1920 under the name The Journal of Neurology and Psychopathology . In 1938 the name was changed to Journal of Neurology and Psychiatry and the tape count started over. In 1944 the name was changed to the current one and the tape count was continued, it appears monthly and is published by the BMJ Group . In addition, the Practical Neurology Supplement is published every two months , focusing on clinical aspects of immediate practical interest.
