The Journal of the American Dental Association , abbreviated J. Am. Dent. Assoc. or JADA , is a scientific journal published by the American Dental Association . The magazine was founded in 1913 under the name "Official Bulletin of the National Dental Association" . Just two years later the name was changed to "Journal of the National Dental Association" and in 1922 the name, which is still valid, was adopted. It appears twelve issues a year.
