The Journal of the Society of Christian Ethics is a quarterly journal published by Duke University . The focus of the journal is on the publication of peer-reviewed articles focusing on social, economic, political and cultural problems in the context of Christian social ethics .

It was founded in 1981 as The Annual of the Society of Christian Ethics and reorganized as a journal in 2002. It is sponsored by the Society of Christian Ethics and was published for many years by Georgetown University Press . From 2019 it will be published by the non-profit publisher Philosophy Documentation Center in both printed and electronic form.
