Railway station journalist award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The station journalist award was presented in 1998 by Adam-Claus Eckert , the long-time chairman of the Association of German Train Station Booksellers and a partner in the Dr. Eckert, donated to honor outstanding journalistic achievements in German-language print media on the topic of train stations.

The prize is endowed with 5000 . The award-winning editorial contributions are intended to deal in particular with the functions and development of the station as a culmination point between mobility, urban development and the service center. The monitoring process for the selection of candidates is carried out by the journalist Maria Grohme-Eschweiler (agency “der press Arbeiter”). It is also possible to apply for the prize.
