Juan Carlos Carrera is a former Argentine football player at the position of the striker , the first in his home country, and later in Mexico and at the end of his active career in Cuba acted.

Life

Born in Argentina, he first played for CA Temperley and then moved to the Racing Club , where he made his debut in the Argentine Primera División .

After stints at Newell's Old Boys , Banfield and Atlanta , he came to Mexico in 1952, where he was under contract with CD Oro for a total of five years in two stages , which was also his longest stint in professional football . In the golden yellow he also experienced his personally most successful time and was the top scorer of the Mexican Primera División in the 1953/54 season . For the 1955/56 season he was poached by his city rival Atlas Guadalajara , but returned to Oro after only one year and stayed there until the 1957/58 season.

He then moved to the Cuban club Juventud Asturiana , in whose ranks he let his active career end.
