It is located in the Flores department in sector 6 . Juan José Castro is located east of the departmental capital Trinidad . To the south is Cerro Colorado . The Arroyo del Sauce rises in Juan José Castro , and the source of the Arroyo del Pedregal is located on the western edge of the village .
