Grefrath water tower

The water tower Grefrath is a 1928 by the steel company FA Neuman erected water tower on the premises of the textile factory Johs. Girmes & Co. AG in today's Grefrather district of Oedt in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The tower is a 45 meter high steel construction, the specialty of which is the two separate water tanks. While the lower water tank with a capacity of 800 m³ served the company's own water supply, the upper, smaller tank of 175 m³ ensured the supply of the then still independent municipality of Oedt.
