Juan La Porte
Juan La Porte (* 24. November 1959 in Guayama , Puerto Rico ) is a former Puerto Rican boxer in the featherweight . He was trained by Emile Griffith .

At the end of October 1977 he successfully made his professional debut. On September 15, 1982 he boxed against Mario Miranda for the vacant WBC world championship title and won by technical knockout in round 10. At the end of March 1984 he lost the belt to his compatriot Wilfredo Gomez by unanimous decision.
In 1990 he ended his career.
