Judith A. Merkies
Judith A. Merkies (born September 28, 1966 in London , Canada ) is a Dutch politician ( PvdA ).
Merkies was born in Canada and has a Hungarian mother. She studied law at the University of Amsterdam and Harvard University and then practiced as a lawyer. She has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
