Judo magazine

The Judo Magazin is a German sports magazine and the organ of the German Judo Federation .

Judo Magazin was founded in 1961 and since then has been providing "background information, news and training tips" (as the magazine's subtitle) on the subject of judo . It has been published by Meyer & Meyer Verlag in Aachen since 1999, and Oliver Kauer-Berk has been editor -in- chief of the magazine since then .

For three years - from April 1986 to August 1989 - the “ der budoka ” magazine appeared in the West Regional section of the Judo Magazine as the association newspaper of the umbrella organization for Budotechniken NRW eV

The monthly magazine has a circulation of around 12,000 copies, almost all of which are sold by subscription . The retail price of the 52-page magazine is 3 euros. Five permanent authors and several photographers work for Judo Magazin (all information as of 2008).
