Walle youth home

The building of the Walle youth home , later the Walle youth home (JFH-Walle) and also the JuBZ-Walle , in Bremen , Walle district, Walle district, Waller Heerstraße 229 / Waller Straße, was built in 1952 according to plans by senior building officers Hans Krajewski and Kurt Heinrich. This building has been a listed building in Bremen since 1994 .

history

The single-storey youth home from 1952 was built in the New Objectivity style by the Bremen Building Department . The building consists of a middle, higher structure with an eccentric gable roof and a red brick facade and two wing structures with flat roofs . In 1952 the buildings cost 300,000 marks. SoFa eV
is located in the building as a youth and advice center in Walle . Currently used include a café, hall, sports hall, fitness room, kitchen, several leisure rooms, music room, sound studio and media room.
