Juja is a city in Kiambu County in Kenya . The city is located near Nairobi and is part of its metropolitan area. The city is about 30 kilometers north of Nairobi between the cities of Thika and Ruiru . Juja has a population of 156,041 (2019 census) and is experiencing rapid population growth. The name Juja goes back to a farm founded by a British.
