Julián Atehortúa

Julián Darío Atehortúa Bedoya (born June 19, 1983 in Salgar ) is a Colombian road cyclist .

In 2005, Julián Atehortúa won a stage each at the Vuelta al Valle del Cauca, the Clásica Nacional Ciudad de Anapoima and the Clásica de Fusagasugá. In the 2007 season he won the overall ranking of the Giro del Veneto. At the end of the year he drove for Ceramica Flaminia as a stagiaire and got a professional contract for the following season. In his first year there, he won a stage at the Clásica Ciudad de Girardot and was able to win the overall standings. In 2009 he was successful at the Memorial Augusto Triana. He also won a stage each at the Clásica Alcaldía de Pasca, the Clásica Carmen de Viboral and the Clásica Nacional Marco Fidel Suárez, as well as the overall ranking at the Clásica Nacional Ciudad de Anapoima. In the 2010 season Atehortúa won the team time trials of the Vuelta a Antioquia and the Vuelta a Colombia with the Colombian team Ind Ant-Idea-Fla-Lot de Medellín .
