Julia Suter (born October 6, 1990 ) is a Swiss floorball player . She is under contract with the National League A representative UHC Dietlikon .
Career
society
Red Ants Rychenberg Winterthur
Suter began her career with the Red Ants Rychenberg Winterthur , with whom she stayed until 2010. In her last year she won the Swiss Cup with the Red Ants by beating UHC Dietlikon .
UHC Dietlikon
For the 2010/11 season she moved to UHC Dietlikon . In her first season for her new club, she played in six championship games and scored eight points. In 2014 she left the club at her own request and announced her resignation. During her time at Dietlikon, she did not win a title.
UH Red Lions Frauenfeld
After a year break, she trained with UH Red Lions Frauenfeld for the 2015/16 season . There she played three games over a period of one year and scored two goals.
UHC Dietlikon
On May 10, 2017, the UHC Dietlikon announced on its website that Suter had decided to play top uni hockey again. On March 2, 2018, the UHCD announced that Suter would continue to play for the Zurich women in 2018/19.
National team
In 2006, Suter put on the shirt for the Swiss U19 national floorball team for the first time . In the 2006 World Cup she scored ten points and Switzerland finished the tournament in 3rd place. Two years later she won the gold medal with Switzerland at the World Championships in Babimost . The World Cup was also her last appearance in the U19 national team.
After winning the title with the U19, she was called up for the first time for the senior national team. There she was used in the Euro Floorball Tour 2008. She took part in the 2009 and 2011 World Cup with Switzerland. In 2009 she won the silver medal with Switzerland. In 2011 she was unable to take home a medal. In 2012 she played for the Swiss national team for the last time.
