history

The Red Ants were founded in 1986 as the women's section of HC Rychenberg , one of the first floorball clubs in Switzerland. In the first season after their founding they won the championship and were able to take all championship titles until they were separated from the club except for the championship in 1991. There were also six cup wins as well as three silver and three bronze medals at the European Cup .

In 2000, the parent club HC Rychenberg was replaced and a women's club was founded. In the period that followed, several other titles followed, which finally reached their climax in 2005 when they won the European Cup, the highest award for floorball clubs in Switzerland. Since 2005, the club has had a strong opponent in the championship with the UHC Dietlikon and no longer wins every title, but continues to play at the top of Switzerland.
