Julian Solis (* 7. January 1957 in Puerto Rico ) is a former Puerto Rican boxer in the bantamweight . He was trained by Teddy Atlas .

Professional career

In 1975 he started his professional career successfully. On August 29, 1980 he boxed against Jorge Lujan for the world championship title of the association WBA and won by split judges' decision. However, he lost this belt in his first title defense in November of the same year to Cheff Chandler through a technical knockout.

In 1992 he ended his career.
