Juliana Kanyomozi

Juliana Kanyomozi (born November 27, 1981 ) is a singer from Uganda . Her best known pieces are Say Yes , Nabikoowa and Nkulinze . Together with Bobi Wine she sang Taata Wa Banna Yanni (Who is the father of the children) and Mama Mbiire .

Awards

  • She has won at least six “Pearl of Africa Music (PAM)” awards. In 2004 she won the award for best female R&B artist. In 2005 she also won in the category of best R&B artist and with "Nabikoowa" in the categories of best female artist and best single. In 2008 she was named PAM Artist of the Year and again won the Best Artist category.
  • 2012: Kora All African Music Award in the category of Best Artist from East Africa
